Getting to Villa Lavaya from Dalaman Airport

Villa Lavaya sits above Kalamar Bay in Kalkan, on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. The nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM), around 115–125 km away. The drive takes about an hour and a half along the scenic D400 coastal road through Fethiye.

Private transfer (easiest)

A private transfer is the simplest way to arrive. Your driver meets you in arrivals and takes you straight to the villa, which is especially easy for larger groups with luggage. We’re happy to arrange this for you – just let us know your flight times when you book.

Hire car

All the main car hire companies have desks at Dalaman Airport, and parking is available at the villa. Having a car makes it easy to explore Patara, Kaputaş Beach and Kaş at your own pace.

Public transport

It is possible by bus, but it takes longer and involves changes: a taxi to Dalaman bus station, the Havaş shuttle to Fethiye, then a local minibus from Fethiye to Kalkan. We’d only recommend this for light travellers.

Flying into Antalya instead

Antalya Airport often has more flights. It’s further away – around 3 to 3½ hours by road – so a transfer or hire car is the best option from there.

Weekly stays run Saturday to Saturday. Once we know your flight details, we’ll send directions and arrival information before your stay – and a champagne welcome pack will be waiting for you.
